Everyone, with internet access, by now knows about the new wireless, eBook reading device from Amazon.com, the Kindle. What many may not know, is that Amazon’s listing of the Franklin EB-500 Rocket eBook is showing to be currently “unavailable”. Veeeeery interesting. (Screen capture in case this product page ever “conveniently” falls down the memory hole.)

​Do I detect a conspiracy here?

Quote from the Franklin EB-500 Rocket eBook, Amazon page:

Availability:
Currently unavailable. We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Did you notice the wording, “We don’t know when or if…”?

Oh sure, the item has be discontinued by the manufacturer, but is there no one willing to sale their used Franklin EB-500 Rocket eBook? Or is Amazon suppressing the sale of used Franklin EB-500 Rocket eBooks?

Considering the online juggernaut Amazon has become, we may never know the truth.
